Just fed everything so it’s still opening back up. Is the white at the base normal? This is my first frog spawn and I don’t remember it being like this when I purchased from LFS. Just want to be sure it is happy and there isn’t something I should be doing. I feed shrimp, reef roids and use the Kent marine 2 part liquid. It’s a 28 gallon nano cube tank.

Euphyllia generally have some flesh where the head connects to the skeleton. If it ever starts to recede, it can be a sign of distress, so it's good to keep a casual eye on it!
