frogspown coral not opening

Hi all
Hope all are doing good.

I just baught my self a frogspown corl it was opening on the LFS.

Added it to my tank in a medium light mid flow area it's been few hours now and now yet opening .

Not sure if I placed it i a wrong place .

Between getting bagged up at the store, possibly dipped, and thrown into a new home with different water parameters and differ light and flow it's just stressed. Give it some time not a emergency be patient

In 3 days it will probably look alright, in a week it will probably look like it did in the store. As long as the tissue looks healthy you are all good!

Appreciate all the quick support. I'm new to reef keeping .I got scared easly .
Thing was I baught
Mushroom opened
Fes zoa opened
Gsp not yet .but could see tiny bits
And frogspown

Made me scared so quick

If youre worried I'd go over what your parameters are. Also, hopefully you acclimated it before throwing it into the tank. However, I'm sure like the above comments mention it just takes time. I just got a new Hammer frag last night and it looked the same, looked in this morning and its completely extended.

My ph is a bit low I think around 8

@Reef257 those look good to me, so probably the biggest things that can factor in would be light and flow. I'd start on the lower spectrum if you can find a space like that. Which I'm sure you have.

Thanks for all the support .I have reduce the light for 80 % .put a setting for 7 days .finger crossed .hope things get back to normal.

Definitely not something to worry about this soon. Like others said, it will take some time to adjust. Between the movement at the store, the trip home, the dip (if you did one), acclimation, and then the move to your tank, it is just a bit upset. Give it a good week to come around, and just keep an eye on the flesh. As long as you don't see the flesh start to melt or come away from the skeleton, you should be fine.

Thanks for all the support . I think there is been some improvement since last time . Now only thing is my GSP hasn't opened .Gove give him some time too
