Thanks Jimbo662! I'm running them in acclimation mode starting at 35% and they'll max out at 55%. My tank is only 18 inches deep and the lights are 10 inches above the water line.

Thanks, mine is 18" deep and lights 9" above the water. I've got them maxed out at 37% right now. Been afraid to go higher because I thought I was bleaching a couple of acros. I need to borrow a par meter and find out exactly where I'm at.

Awesome collection! How do you like that skimmer? I just picked up a few pieces you have this week end at reef-a-paloosa
Thanks Xtc_link. It's a great little skimmer, it definitely pulls out some super dark and smelly sludge. I only have one fish, a green mandarin in the tank at the moment so we'll see how it does with a few more fish over the coming months. I'll have to post some updated pics of the corals once I get home from this work trip. I'm seeing some nice growth in my SPS.

I have the same skimmer that's why is asked . How often do you clean the neck? I could clean mine every 3-4 days but I do once a week.
I ended up stocking my tank with a lot of fish so most sps don't care for my dirty water, lol
Do you do anything special for the pectinia?

I empty the cup out every 4 or so days but I've actually only cleaned the neck twice since I've had it. It tends to stay pretty clean on its own surprisingly.
I haven't done anything special with the Pectina although I'm sure it gets scraps from the Reef Chili and LRS Reef Frenzy that i feed every couple of days.

The neck on mine gets covered with green sludge 48ish hours after cleaning it. The cup fills half way during the next day and I start the process over again. I have 10 fish, a few are 4" plus tangs in a 15o.
I have a pectinia also and seen a tentacle once. Like a year ago but only once. Haha. Awesome pics btw!

No kidding. How big is your tank. Are you running Carbon/GFO? I skim pretty dry so maybe that's why my neck doesn't seem to get as dirty. I need to take another picture of my Pectina to see if there's been any growth. How's the growth been on yours?

for the past year it's been puffed up but recently it's staring to look anorexic. 150g 33sump No carbon or gfo. I run the skimmer just a bit past 4 on the intake dial. I had this same skimmer on my 75 and it's always been the same. Takes two days to produce, produces for a few hours. Then the bubble head drops the sludge dries and it won't produce again. Lol. I've never had a different skimmer so I don't exactly know what normal would be
