Had a 20 gallon bowfront freshwater tank and I am starting to plan out a reef tank. Hoping to do a 55+ gallon with a nice stand to hide everything. Going to take it slow and do everything right. Look forward to learning more from this site.

I would recommend a 75 or a 40 breeder over the 55. The 55 is narrow and presents issues with aquascaping. I hate my 55 for this reason.

The more I read the more Ive notice people lean towards the 75.

I also had no idea there was such thing as rimless tanks. If I come across the money I may go down that road. For now I am gonna look for a used tank with new equipment
