From nano 24 to refer 350

Hello guys
So after , 1 year , I am upgrading from 24nano to 350 reefer .
I have questions guys , if you don't mind .

Can I use my current rock I have in my nano in New? Or leave it there, I plan to use nano as quarantine tank

My xenia ir huge in my nano, can I cut it from the rick , glue to the frag and put to new tank ?

I will be moving apex from nano to reefer , where do I install probes and dosing lines , to the tank or in refugee? Currently I have installed probes and dosing goes direct to the tank

Water change? Autimatic or manual ? I don't think I will fit buckets under the tank in the cabinet

I will definitely plan to have copypods , any advices how to start them ?

Any other useful advice to start? Extra lights in refugee? Anything?

Move the rock. I don't think you want rock in a quarantine tank.

Xenia can be difficult to remove... but it can be done. It might be easier to just break the rock it is attached to. I often do that with encrusting corals I want to downsize.

If you have a sump/refugium, I'd run them there.

I'm not sure I understand your question about water changes. Most people do them manually. I shut off my return pump, siphon water from the DT and the add new water back into the DT. Yes it stirs things up some, but mostly it detritus I want filtered out anyway.

Don't worry about copepods until your tank is more mature, say in 6 to 12 months. Then add them to your refugium (I assume that's what you called a refugee?).

If you are going to grow a macro algae in the refugium, it will need a light. A grow light or refugium specific light will work much better than an aquarium light.

Good luck with the change over to the bigger tank.

I was thinking to keep the old rockn in QT tank. So it will be constantly ready and stable, tha was my plan

The rock can go in the quarantine tank as long as you aren't medicating it. If you are, I'd recommend you put the rock in a bucket with saltwater and a powerhead or return pump to keep water moving.

I'm not sure how easy xenia is to remove from a rock. If you've got video help, you'll probably be OK.
