Or I stop by the local Rainsoft dealer and buy it a cubic foot at a time lol. About 100 bucks for 27 or so pounds. But they do not always have a bag in stock.

Edit: The bulk in a bag has a lot of dust to be washed off, as they trhow the bags around when loading/unloading.

But either way, 100 bucks for a 5 gallon bucket full is a lot cheaper than $15 for 10 oz.

Thanks man! I was really worried about them for a minute but cipro saved the day! Started with 4 one melted, the other 3 were headed that way , now I’m back to 4 of them due to split and looking healthy

And you were running 250/night?

How far into your Cipro dose did it take it before you were noticeably seeing results?

I ran it for 10 days and yes started with 500mg first and last night , 250mg every night in between . I was worried if the dosage was too low would actually make things worse lol so I went hard , I didn’t notice any improvements until 7 days in

Not sure if relevant but the first night I also target fed the nems with the cipro to make sure they got some , they didn’t like it but I think they needed it

40b with a lot of rock , and sea systems wet dry sump - I’d estimate 50 gallons total due to rock taking up 5 gallons or so

Been 9 days no carbon and just tuned skimmer back on , dosing reef flux , I think caulerpa is losing hold and looking weaker / translucent. May add another half dose Monday

Just remember, you will need to keep dosing for at least 2 weeks after the last bit dies. This will ensure that no root structures make it. All it takes is on small root to live and it starts all over again.

I would use it just to see how the heck to hack one to run on Apex or reefpi. My understanding is that the biggest issue is the controller.
