From snakes to fish

All time favorite reptile would be Salvators… hands down. I have a love / hate relationship with them. They broke my spirit at one point. Well, my male did. 7’ of pure evil that would try to maim you & could if given the opportunity.. My female pictured was puppy tame! Literally! I just am back to a variety of colubrids and my reef tanks… Leo’s are fun! I’ve never had a FWC, but heard they are great..

That is so cool!! My fiancé is afraid of lizards so I am out as well lol used to have a Nile monitor even when being nice their claws hurt

Highly intelligent & interactive. I would spend hours with my girl. Like having a trusting relationship with a 6’ dinosaur.

my arms always looked like I was a cutter Like you said, even when they didn’t mean to. Plus the clean up of a carnivore that consumed a couple large rats & fish every other day. Wasn’t like potpourri. Lol still worth it, except for that male…

Yep I was right lol , alk 9.2 ph 8.2 , Calc 420 (lol)
phosphate .22 ppm!
Nitrate 0-5ppm!

I’ve been dumping the skimmer cup back into the tank this week looks like just phosphates increased need to dose nitrate

I can tell when there is more brown algae that my nutrients are lower

Picked up some neo nitro! I’ve used before and it’s good stuff , lowers phosphate as well

Been doing 4 caps a day on day 2 lol will test nitrate later to see if I need to increase some spam from today

Snakes were a lot less maintenance but reef is so rewarding lol

nitrate still 0-5ppm!
Phosphate .16 ppm
Alk 9.1 dkh
Calc 400-430
Ph 8.2

deciding to make it 6 caps daily , I may be carbon limited not too sure and some spam from today

This scares me. My coral did not like NeoNitro dosing after a few months. I decided to just let the reef reef and not interfere.
