From snakes to fish

New anemone apparently still settling in! Making me kinda worried but has not deflated once / dug itself into the sand so it seems healthy, still discharging black stuff in mouth. Everything else is doing pretty good.
Nitrate 20ppm
Phosphate .07 - seems kinda low for me lol
Alk 9.8
Salinity 1.026 -1.027

My plan to beat aptasia is as follows lol , when moving everything I wil rehome / selll the damsels and six line wrasse/blenny , leaving only purple dottyback and clown fish at which point I will either buy a CBB or berghia nudibranch

Took about a week but I think the purple LTA finally closed its mouth. Will check again later tonight, hoping I don’t have to cipro my DT again lol

Well moved tanks over the weekend as well as painted a couple rooms safe to say I’m exhausted lol , everything survived the transfer! One anemone is a little beat up but I expected that. Next purchase needs to be a light mount as my old one sadly does not fit the tank. LTA is sooo much more happy in new tank , it’s all by itself and loves the deep sand bed . Tank is cloudy due to sand ( dry 90 lbs) , parameters are pretty much the same due to using old water.

alk 8.9
Ph 8.2
Nitrate 20-30ppm
Phosphate .14ppm
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0

sold most of my fish , just left with clowns , lawn mower blenny and orchid dottyback. Plan is get a CBB and then a tang or two ,

Dude I bit m gut bumped from here a few days ago. I would have been there for hbd transfer. I just saw the new LTA!
All good! It was hectic but I made it work , had some help from friends lol and thankfully a drill to build the stand

Tank is Legit! How was the transfer? What did you learn?
Honestly I think using the old water really helped, my parameters stayed pretty much the same just like a 50% waterchange in old tank. I did add 90lbs of dry sand so I’m expecting a little bit of a cycle but glad to get rid of tons of bristle worms and aptasia haha , need to buy some conches and nassarius snails as the sand is liek 4-5 inches and very fine
