Optical illusion... There are only three. But the tank forms a mirror from that angle.
They were four but one of the Gladiators jumped through the cord opening of the cover. I guess he thought he was a real Gladiator. It really hurt though. I had to keep him for a week after he passed. I later fixed that properly. No more jumping. Any surfing must be done in the tank not on the floor.

When we get the advice 'Quarantine' It's really quite important. I have battled with ich from day one and even had to dose copper to the display tank to get rid if it. And when I finally did, I could not get rid of the copper. Then one mistake from quarantine oversight and the journey 'back to the beginning' starts all over again.

My fishy friends got new friends
Flasher the Foxface

but he is the one that helped me to restart the ich battle and man.. did he hide it well. Until he didn't... so now everyone gets a hypo-salinity treatment as we try to avoid the copper.

But at least no recent deaths.

One would think that I had fallen off the entire face of the earth or just given up on the entire hobby. Honestly however that hyposalinity idea turned into a death sentence for some of my first tank mates and prized family members. By the time I concluded that it just wasn’t working Mr. Jumper my Royal Gramma and ‘Stooley’ my Tailspot Blenny, were both casualties of the battle.
changing the treatment brought similar results as ‘The Clowns’ my clownfish pair, ‘Ruth’ the Sailfin Tang, ‘Blondue’ the Yellow Tang, my blue Hippo Tang, the Foxface Rabbitfish,

All these loses came in February or 2020 and as one would imagine writing an update was not even a thought in the most remote part of anywhere computers exists. One infection sunk to the loss of 10 fish including ‘Huck’ my male Blond Naso Tang with streamers. It all hurt but with 3 fish left and already bought hardware along with the handy work of a tank personally built a decision was made to stick I with it. A full year and some later we now have a few more tank mates.

The tank is looking up somewhat!
keep at it reefing folks, just remember quarantine, quarantine, and then Quarantine!

Much Has changed, with lots of lessons learned and quite a few heart aches, but there have also been quite a few moments to smile along the way.
