So I shipped a pack of 6 RB chalices. 3 arrived well and 3 are definitely stressed but alive because still have glowing eyes and defined rims. Will they come back in the right tank condition?? Do I need to consider them a doa. In a weird spot with it but I know they are super hardy and when I got them they didn't look great but bounced back no problem over a little time. Any help would be appreciated

If someone ordered them from you and half arrived in poor condition I would say that you should replace those 3 if they don't make it. The 2 of you could agree to give it some time to see if they bounce back or not. With that being said I have seen chalices with only the flesh left on the mouths and the rest just skeleton grow back.

Yeah I do t have replacements. Would need to just be cash back. I think they will pull through personally but I get both ends. I've received more than I've sent. But if I refund for them, it is what it is, but I know eventually these will end up being ok

yeah man, I guess that is something that you have to work out with the buyer. If I spent big money on some rainbow chalices and they came in half dead I would be pretty PO. I've also bought half dead chalices and nursed them back to health, granted not paying much for them. Also a healthy coral is much more tolerant of tank condition changes then something that is obviously stressed out as you said. They may not pull through the shipping stress followed by acclimating to new tank conditions. You could offer half the money back or you could both agree to wait a week and see if they turn around or not. Bottom line is if they did not arrive in good condition then the person did not get what they paid for. If I were the buyer I would be willing to give it a little while and see if they pulled through and if they didn't I would expect a refund for the ones that arrived in poor condition.

pics would help but they are typically very hardy corals and as long as they do not rapidly die off, should be able to come back. Keep tank stable and pray to the great coral octopus god!

The lighting and camera phone pics obviously make it tough to really tell. But you can see eyes and rim still glowing. I'm going to do my best to make it right but I have confidence they are just super stressed and will pull through and be beautiful again
