From your experience, is H202 safe for coral?

I have heard of it being bad for coral, I want to dose H202 for Dino’s, but want to hear if it is reef safe. I believe it is but not too sure.

I've never dosed it but I do squirt it on algae that is in the tank to kill it. Never have seen an adverse reaction in my coral. I've dipped zoas in straight hydrogen peroxide for 10 minutes or more and they are usually mad for a day or so but nothing else.

ive thrown zoas into straight hydrogen peroxide and they were fine after a couple days. they look funny for a bit but it got rid of all algea on the frag plug

It's completely safe if done correctly, I dosed it everyday for two weeks for a different reason and it had absolutely no effect on any of the coral. Just keep an eye on your phosphates as they will rise but in your predicament that could very well help the situation.

I'm currently dosing peroxide 1ML/10gal twice a day. Once it the morning before lights on, (in display) and once after lights go out (feeding the peroxide into the skimmers air line) to play wack a mole against Dino's. So far so good. Nothing to report on except the zoas close up right away for a few min then open back up. I'm also using a wooden air block at the intake of the return pump and bubbling the tank during the night. I'm also adding Bacteria 30 min before lights out to basically get the troops ready for the fight.

As for phosphate I see no change as in it rising. My tank is hovering between .014- .020 before even doing the peroxide trial, but I'm also having to dose Neophos morning and night still just to keep phosphate from tanking on me.

Another side note, when bubbling the tank you'll see the dinos pooling together on the sand bed trying to hold their ground. I will lightly disturb the sand bed just to loosen it up a bit to give the bacteria some space to get in and attack.

Tonight is night 2 of the bubbling trial, and just after one night I seen the next day they were definitely disrupted
