frowning SPS under a fluval marine 3.0 light?

I have a reef tank, but i also don’t have $700 for lighting. i went with the best option i could, the 3.0 marine lighting by fluval, is it possible to grow SPS under this lighting as long as i have strong flow? just wondering

so 24" deep? and 18" front to back?

You could probably get away with lower light Sps like Montipora. They would have to be in the middle and pretty close to the top of the tank though.

Nah, but check out noopsyche’s new light. It’s fairly cheap and apparently good for sps.

mhhhhh, I dont really think so. Sadly sps require ALOT of light. The fluval might not be enough but have seen smaller tanks with fluvals growing sps so there is a possibility. Make sure you have the corals in correct locations with correct flow,light and space to grow

This light will not work for sps.

If you like the light. You may want to get more of them for more wattage. Not sure how many watts one unit is.

Ocean Revive T247 grow SPS! You'll need two for that tank.

Fluval won't grow sps. Lps and softies. Try looking at making own led. I'm now supplementing my fluval 1.0 &4.0 with t5s. But I really need some diy leds

I used to have the 2.0 and grew easier sps a little but when I got a black box led. Around same price,things took off
