Frozen Fish Food Feeder

I have been looking for a feeder that would slowly thaw and feed frozen fish food to my tank. The only thing I have found so far is the popsicle feeder found here: https://smarterreefs.com/

I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this feeder? I would also like to know what you use and some recommendations.

I use a big pvc coupler. I zip tied plastic mesh around the bottom. U can drill holes in the sides and hang with fish line. Put the bottom of it submerged.

My smarter Reef feeder arrived today, a lot smaller than I was expecting which is a good thing, looks huge in the videos, used it for the first time today, can't say how long the food lasts as I was at work but will post as soon as I have a day off and try it but the quality of the product is very good, up to now very pleased with it, wish I bought one sooner.
If the food last at least 6 hours I'll be very pleased.

My smarter Reef feeder arrived today, a lot smaller than I was expecting which is a good thing, looks huge in the videos, used it for the first time today, can't say how long the food lasts as I was at work but will post as soon as I have a day off and try it but the quality of the product is very good, up to now very pleased with it, wish I bought one sooner.

Just an update on the Smarter Reef feeder, was off work today so tested it to see how long the food stayed frozen, the room the feeder was in was at 68f, the feeder was right next to the light also, it’s only 15watts but would have increased at least one side of the feeder to above that of the room.
The food stayed frozen for the full 8 hours as stated, here are a few pics along the way, the last picture was taken with only 20mins to the full 8 hours mark

Did you watch the dripping food? How much food dripped? I’ve been looking at this too and had the same questions as you. Another question is: does it drip enough to feed everyone if you have some food hogs?

it hangs above the tank, then drips slowly in the tank adding the food.

Good question, I only have 3 fish, one hardly eats so I didn't add a lot of food (pictures seem to show a lot) I also added very small food types which I feel was a mistake as the fish didn't noticed the food so much., they also need to get used to this way of feeding, as seeing me was the clue they were getting fed.

So in my case yes the food was added very slowly so wouldn't be the best for a lot of fish but adding more food I would think would fix that issue, the power heads stay on so this helps disperse the food, you could also position the feeder over the power head to really kick it around the tank.

I've now made the icicles with bigger food types and added more food.
