I just got a nano tank 15 g like a month ago, I was feeding my 2 fishes with pellets until I got a cardenalfish. It wasn't eating so I got frozen food, one the portion is too much food, second the water gets dirty and third the frozen food smells bad. So how I feed them properly I will like to get back to the pellets or find a right method to feed them with these frozen food.

I cut the blocks in half for my tank then will thaw with water from the tank in a small cup, seems to help the cloudy mess

What food are you feeding?

I feed our Cardinal along with other fish in the tank with frozen brine shrimp. I cut up the cube into three then I put in a small container and add water from the tank.

I use frozen brine shrimp but I think I need to cut the cube in 3 for one piece a day. I'm gonna try to use knife tonight but now the cardinal is eating pellets too which is easy for me cus I don't have much free time. So maybe I just give them shrimp over the weekends when I have more free time to make its frozen food.

I have a nano tank with three ORA Masked Gobies that are very small, but I feed them LRS Reef Frenzy and LRS Nano Frenzy.
I thaw the frozen food in tank water and then use a small pipette to feed only a little bit at a time; selecting the smaller pieces.
It helps that I also feed these foods to my 120gal reef system, so I have no worries about what to do with leftovers.

You could also consider getting this to help with feedings:

I would also consider changing the foods. Frozen brine shrimp is like junk food for our fish. If you can get a hold of LRS reef frenzy, that would be a huge step up. :)
