I’ve been storing my fish food in my freezer with regular human food and after a while there’s a fish odor. I keep the fish food in sealed ziplock baggies but there’s still a smell.

Do people generally keep their fish food in a separate freezer? Or is there a way to prevent odors from leaching?

I did for awhile when I was into feeding all types of frozen foods. A mini freezer is 100$ so barely a cost impact all things considered in this hobby. I have since stopped feeding frozen foods and rely much more on pellets and flakes and dont see any differences other than the fact that dried foods create a little more of a nutrient issue. My corals like it.

I keep my frozen food in a hard plastic container that seals with a gasket. No smells escape it.
