I was told if you use Hikari frozen food, there is no need to rinse the cubes prior to feeding.

Any and all feedback appreciated.
 
My lfs guy convinced me to not rinse, people will disagree I know but I haven't seen a spike in my phosphates.
 
A lot of fish food uses fish products and at the Mfgr ing processing plant level they use PO4 to retain moisture in the food product. if "fish meal" is listed, you betcha they use PO4 to protect the moisture of the product...

I don’t rinse my frozen food. Think of the cube juice as small micron coral food.
