Frozen live sand?

I ordered a couple bags of line sand from BRS. They arrived frozen solid. Think it’s okay to use for a new tank still?

Yes. Live sand in a bag is mostly a hoax since the bacteria that you want require oxygen to live and they probably ran out a long time ago unless the bag is very fresh. The bacteria will quickly colonize from other sources.

Their support is pretty great.. I'd call them up and ask. I've had them replace things no questions asked.
