I've had two of these polyps for almost a year. They look awesome but have not multiplied. All other zoas are spreading like crazy. Anyone have experience with these?

Mine are growing pretty fast 19" under my light medium flow. Were under a six bulb t5 but just switched to a 250w halide w/ 4 t5s and they seem to be growing even faster.

Strange.

I have 70 Different types of Zoanthids and Fruit Loops are my second Fastest Grower.

Agree they are pretty slow. Probably the slowest zoa I have ever owned. Agree also hard to frag

I have had a few strains over the years and they have been really slow growers. I got a new strain about 4 months ago and they grow really fast. I get about 4-6 polyps a month from a few different frags.

To give you an idea of how fast mine growing. My last pic up there ^ was about a week ago. They really are growing crazy fast probably got 4 or 5 new polyps since that last post. :)

Yea, I can see them popping babies all over the bottom. Pm if you are interested in trading

Drooling! These are my favorite zoa... I had a colony that grew pretty fast! One day something happened to my fruit loops only. I had plenty of other zoas and palys, but they were the only ones to suffer! I hope you figure out what's going on with them... They are beautiful as a colony! Good luck!
