Frustrated reefer

I've been a member on R2R for maybe 6 years, haven't contributed much, just a lot of reading and learning, I was more active on RC, but I had to tear down my 260 gallon tank last year and I am starting again with a 75 gallon and a 40 gallon sump. The reason I am frustrated is when I tore my last tank down I gave all my corals and livestock to other reefers that I knew would give them a good home, and everyone of them told me that when I get the chance to set up another tank to get ahold of them and I could get Frags of the corals I gave them anytime I wanted. Well of the 8 people I gave all my livestock to, only one person has replied back to me, and all I gave her was some live sand and a bunch of chaeto. Just a little frustrated about this. Guess I shouldn't expect anything for free, but I gave them all a lot of corals for free.

First off, welcome back.

I'm not overly surprised. I see you're in PA....if close to NJ and you want to travel, I'll set you up with ten plus corals for free.

Thank you redfish, but I don't expect anything for free, and I am not quite ready yet. I'm building the sump now, built my new oversized stand last weekend, will be a while before I am ready for any livestock. But it's really appreciated!

Welcome back! Don't forget that sometimes people dont get messages, or see them and can't reply right away and then forget. I have a couple friends who are like that and I just have to remember to nag a little. They dont see it as nagging cause they know they forget to reply all the time. Try them again.... see what happens.

Tried all of them again, my tank is finally cycled and ready for livestock. But I guess I have to start shopping around. Anyone have a decent size frag pack available for sale that could be shipped to PA.

imo. part of the fun is picking out corals you like. one at a time.
filling it will just make you want to keep upgrading your tank
