Been frusted for quite some time now. Was running 2 Kessil 160we's over my 65 gallon rimless. 22 inches deep. SPS die rapidly. Parameter all good, ALK 10, CA 420, MG 1410. So I got an Aquatic Life hybrid T5 fixture beings I had really good results previously with the T5's.
Still seem to be having some issues. I have the Kessil's in there mainly for the ramping up and down, but at a huge loss for the settings.
Any advice from others?
24" 4 bulb fixture. 2 blue plus, 1 purple plus, 1 coral plus. Over a 36" wide tank, 10" above water. Both kessil's spread as wide as fixture allows.

How long has it been running? The kessils with or without the T5’s should support sps in that tank...... Why do you feel the decline is light and not water/flow etc?

I would bet it's not the Kessil lights causing the "rapidly dying sps". I've had Kessils over my current tank and no corals have rapidly died because of the Kessil lights or any other lights, in fact they grow corals pretty good. I would look at something seriously wrong with your water if sps rapidly die. Theres more to keeping sps alive and thriving than just the lights. Theres so many other things that could be causing sps to rapidly die, a few examples, copper present, some params way off, I would send in a water sample to Triton or icp and see if something major pops up from that. Trust me it's not the lights causing rapid die off of sps. Here a pic of my tank that only runs Kessils.
