This hobby can really test you patience. I recently upgraded my tank to a larger one, because that's what us crazy fools do. I have learned many lessons over the years so I took those lessons and made sure to cycle, start slow and made sure I start the upgraded tank with low nutrients so I'm not battling high nitrates and phosphates like I did in my prior tank, which took some sps from me.

So here I am with my new tank, everything looking fantastic, after hair algae bloom, and my biggest zoa rock is ticked off. All of the other corals are awesome, but this one rock is closed and maybe even melting. I fear I may have my water too clean and ticking them off.

And to top things off, I'm home recovering from back surgery #7 and i am stuck at home watching them suffer and not being able to do much about it.

Levels are good.
Salt 1.025
Mg 8.6
Cal 430
Mag 1400
Ph. 05
Nitrate can't get a reading on salifert or nyos

Besides stating the obvious (low nitrate, feed more, consider turning off skimmer if you have one etc) has this been like that from the beginning? If all of a sudden what could be the onset? Any recent changes?

+1, which is why i asked how long they've been this way. Also, do you have other colonies that are suffering or just these guys?
