So which is more trustworthy....

Pinpoint PH monitor
Reefkeeper Elite...

Both have been recently recalibrated with brand new solutions. yesterday they were identical, now the RKE is reading .05-.08 different (lower)......

I dont want to swap the probes cause I dont have more calib solutions...

Are they in different parts of the tank? There can be small amount of variance from one part, Like the Sump verses the tank. And the drip from your Ca Rx will effect the reading also, My PH went up a full point when i moved the effluent drip to the return chamber from the skimmer area.
Also you can reuse the Calibration solution over as long as you don't cross contaminate them, And there is a margin of error in these readings that is expected.

Even if the solution is left out? I didn't put it in Ziploc bags like I should have... oh well forgot to get it today anyways. Yes. One is in the sump, other is in overflow in the tank. Talked to another reefer today and verified that simply touching the plug on the pinpoint will vary the reading by up to 0.15

I put the pp in the tank and the reading was within 0.01. It does fluctuate greatly if I touch the meter where the probe plugs in.
