I am selling a Reef Radiance DM-132e. It is almost new. Used less than one month. I bought it to play with and use for selling frags at a local swap. I no longer need it.

If you are looking for the edge in color growth and want to move beyond the spectrum of blue and white LEDs , then the DM-132e is for you. The e in the name is for "enhanced". And that is exactly what it is - enhanced.
The DM-132e shares the same casing and design with the DM-132s, but that is where the similarities end. While the DM-132s has blue/white LEDs only and designed for coral growing applications, the DM-132e is designed to maximize coral growth AND look good to the person looking at the aquarium.
The DM-132e has 44 3 watt LEDs, and uses Dual Spectrum White and Blue LEDs as well as violet, red, green and yellow LEDs. This light was designed specifically by Reef Radiance and made to our exact requirements based upon intense research into exactly what lighting causes maximum coral health and growth. We didn't just add colored LEDs and call it enhanced.
We looked at the exact photosynthetic lighting spectrum that creates optimal health for zooxanthellae. This single-celled algae is critical to the health, growth, and coloration of corals - and other invertebrates, such as anenomes, clams, gorgonian corals, sea fans, and others. We created a very unique lighting matrix to maximize coral growth and built the DM-132e around it.
The DM-132e has two separate lighting channels. both independently dimmable from 10% - 100%. Each channels can be attached to an external timer so you can achieve a highly realistic sunrise/sunset effect even on a light at this price-point!
In fact, the DM-132e has a unique lighting program that splits the channels in such a way that you can simulate sunrise then daytime and then sunset and then night. Channel one contains all the white and colored LEDS. This is your daytime spectrum. Channel Two is all the blue and violet LEDS. This is you sunrise and sunset channel. By dividing it in this manner you can have a very realistic sunrise - daytime- sunset - night program - without spending the money for a fully programmable LED!
The DM-132e comes with a special dimmer for each channel that allows you to dim all the LEDS from 10%-100%. This is great for introducing new coral that need a specific light spectrum as you can chose what color and ratio to dim and what to brighten.
The DM-132e comes with independent on/off switches so you can turn either channel on or off as you want. It comes with a wired hanging kit included.
