It's only 4 months old. I bought this one as a backup unit for my Apex Gold setup, but I've decided to sell it. No issues at all. Still in the Apex Box.

This is only the base module unit and comes with a power cord as well.

Is there a difference between the Apex Gold base unit and the Apex Standard base unit? I thought the Gold package just come with additional modules and probes.

Not trying to hijack but the thread title is a tad misleading. The apex gold package is a package that includes the full apex plus a pm2 module and the probe to monitor salinity. If your selling just the apex base unit I would edit out the word gold. There is no difference from the apex base unit and apex "gold" base.
