For sale is a used ASM G2 with a brand new Sedra 3500 replacement pump I just bought. It was manufactured in May 2012 and has this stamped on the side of the pump.
The story: I acquired this with a set up I bought. This pump had been out for a few months. I checked it and my best sense was that the impeller magnet had been warped. So I bought a new pump thinking if I am right, the impeller from the new pump will prove me right and I would be left with both a new pump, and I would replace the impeller on the old pump. If I just bought the impeller and was wrong, then I'd have to sell the impeller which seemed a difficult task. Well the impeller was not the issue.
