Up for sale is this nice one eyed frag of the BPC Flamethrower.I'm asking $350 firm buyer pays shipping and paypal fees.I will ship only FedEx Overnight guaranteed live arrival with picture if DOA within 2 hours of delivery confirmation.Please don't pm me and try to lowball or make any posts if you have no intention of buying.I paid the same amount for this frag a few months ago and it was half the size.Its matured and developed the striations around the eye since.Originally from Ian(coralfarm123).

I was never really big into chalices..more of an sps guy and with all the nice Aussies coming in I'd rather have emergency money in case I see something I must have...

Someone on RC asked me for a certificate of authencity..can u believe it?the funny thing is that he was being totally serious about it...he said he didn't know Ian and couldn't take my word For it so I told him he had no business trying to spend this much on a coral he's done no research on....

LOL! It gets to be a pain to sales things these days. Nice frag if I didnt already have it Id be all over it. I got mine from Ian also

There's a lot of knock-offs now-a-days and it's really hard to tell from just a small 1 eye frag if it's the real deal or not. Anyone can say they got it from so and so. For example, someone can buy a pink watermelon frag off of ebay for about $50 and turn around and sell it for $150 and claim that they got their Bazooka Joe from so and so who got it from so and so who got it from Tyree or what-not...to only find out that they just got rip'd off a few months down the road. I wouldn't call the guy on RC dumb...I'd call him a smart investor looking out for his investments...that's a lot of $$$ to drop on just a one eye frag. Yes, if you really want it, you'd pay the price for it just like the My Miami...but with that, you're getting it directly from the source. All the other frags, you're getting it from 2nd hands or 3rd hand owners and what-not.

true...but how many copycat FTs are out there with the signature striations?...if he did his research on the FT then he would know its trademark characteristics and origin...how many corals have u bought that came with an actual certificate of authenticity?..we go by the honor system and reputation and if u managed to get ripped off then u apparently didn't do your research...JMO

anyways its not a big deal, i just thought it was funny he wanted me to send him an actual certificate...the guy who bought it didn't even question because he knew what he was looking at and is now awaiting a sweet frag...
 
For what its worth Billy is a very trust worthy guy in our area. I have bought quite a few things from him. They have all looked great. I know he would not try to cheat anyone. It would only hurt him in the long run. I know he would not blemish his reputation.
