Well I've decided that this skimmer just won't be a good fit for my 45 cube and I'm going to go with something smaller. I opened the box just to check it out, it's never seen water, brand new. The price is $275 firm. I'll get a pic up tomorrow. Thanks.

Yeah this thing is built like a tank, best build quality I've ever owned. My fear is that it will be oversized for a 45g, I really should have gone with the 130. I have a lot of sps in this system so I want to get it right from the start.

Did you get a 130? I have both a 130 and a 150,and the only difference I see is the pump.I have identical tanks, both seem to work fine. The 130 has been running about 6 mos. Might not be an attractive deal but I will trade pumps. (better than loosing that much on the skimmer)

The 130 has 5" body and the 150 has a 6" body. Both skimmers use the same pump. This skimmer is brand new and unused so I'd rather sell it that way, thanks for the offer though.

Ok, one last push to sell this thing locally. This week only I'll take $225 picked up. If it doesn't go local it will be $250 plus shipping firm. Again this thing is brand new. Lmk, thanks.

Great skimmer, I use the Omega 150 in my 49 gallon (sps dominate) and it works perfectly fine.

What is your total volume and how long have you had it running? I already have another skimmer though so it needs to go at this point.

I have a 49 gallon tank... with an Eshopp R-200 refugium sump, which is about 20-25 gallons extra? I had it running since June 30th 2015, till right now.
