How do you like the Mitras 7206? I have a lot of GHL equipment so I’m thinking of adding there lights as well. Does it make the corals pop. Right now I’m using 8 t5’s 6ft long. Was thinking of buy 3 of the mitras instead. Not interested. I replaced them with 3 GHL Mitras 7206, so radions are definitely not gunna compare. But thanks for the interest !!
Changing from hydras to the Mitras was well worth it. I do like them better. They are pretty powerful. I don’t have a profilux (I’ll be getting one soon) which offers more programming options for the lights. They are HIGHLY programmable so if that scares you they won’t be for you. If you like the total control including seasonal programming and moon phases how clouds move from fixture to fixture, etc then they are for you. Can’t say I have a bad thing to say about them. Not sure about the pop, per say everything looks just as good to me as the hydras that I was running the AB+ programming. They have a WAY better spread. How do you like the Mitras 7206? Yeah not worried about the programming as I play with the light settings all the time in my ProfiLux. I actually have my current lights set up through my ProfiLux. A lot of options that’s for sure. Wow the Radions are worth 3 times as muchwould you be interested in working out a trade for some of those 26's? i have an almost new radion xr30w Gen 4 that i just opened and installed on the first of February. this would also include the RMS mount and i could throw you some cash also. i'm upgrading tanks and need more lights
I have bought several led bars with absolutely no luck. All the hype online says they use meanwell drivers and of the 3 I’ve bought none have came with nothing but aftermarket drivers. The 2 four ft versions I’ve bought ( 1 uv and 1 daylight). Both ended up developing shorts I’m supposing in cords. I would have to unplug and plug back in several times to get to light up the whole length. The uv ended up going very dim. Would not fully light up. I should have sent back but me being me. Thought I would just fix myself. So I tore it down. I’m doing so I noticed most of the leds has ended up getting so hot the basically melted the top side of led which made a black crusty top. Half of the lens fell right out as soon as I broke the acrylic enclosure loose. I can send you pics if you like. Out of the 3 I’m down to only one and have made a couple of 12” versions from the other ones. I fell in love with what I read about the orphecks and could not afford the v4 so bought these to hold me over. After my experience with the bars It has me somewhat skeptical.I swapped from Aqua Illumination lights to Orphek V4 Compacts a couple weeks ago. I will own nothing but Orphek from now on. Hopefully this pandemic we are all in will go away soon and I will be purchasing the led bars
