I also have the intake screen if interested for $10 more never used and threaded coupling for $10.

That the propeller is hitting the sides causing it to stall and stop working. It will be black, but in my case it's white. I believe that's what's he's reffering to

No the older models are white Inside the new models are black inside on the L1.
Not saying it's a bad thing or that it matters really because ecotech will replace the old model if it goes bad.

Yup and just got it replace and it's the new version of the L1
