Have you actually used the Vertex with the Various? If so, how did you connect it?

Yes with a piece of latex hose pushed over the threaded part on the varies and fit perfect on the inlet of the Vertex!

I thought the Varios 6 had more than the Red Dragon for sure, I only had it running at 2/3's till I sold it a few weeks ago.

That makes sense. The Varios is rated at 2400lph of air, the stock RD for an Alpha 250 was rated at 1800lph. Big difference in wattage though, I wonder how much wattage the Varios was using at 2/3 power. It shows 70W on the box, I'm assuming that's at max. The RD was rated at 38W.

the pump i had with the alpha 250 went out. Any issues using / installing the varios with it? I have a varios 8 i was gonna try..
