I used to keep large species of lionfish together (Volitant 5+) in same tank and they are did fine with each other.
I knew the dwarf lionfish species are more aggressive to each other than the larger species so my question:
Did anyone keep multiple Fu Manchu Lion in same tank?

An M-F-F trio is possible.
Thanks.
How do you know if its a male or female? I think it's impossible to sex Fu Manchu Lion :P
I can ask LFS to get me more Fu Manchu but I would have to gamble my changes.

I believe it's possible to sex Dendrochirus species,but I don't remember how off-hand.

Sexing them is subjective and really can only be attempted while observing a group together. The male lions will have larger more square shaped heads, the males also have longer pectoral fins. The fuzzy male will have 6 or more stripes on their pectoral fins, while the female will have 6 or less. This also becomes difficult as these differences don't show up until they are mature.

So I got 3x Fu Manchu Lions and seem like they are getting along with each other for now, no aggression between them!
1 big and 1 smaller lions are stay together, as long they don't fight or kill each other then I'm good, getting a pair just for a safety caution and not for breeding purpose. :)
