That's my question all my parameters like alk. Call. Mag. are good but when it comes to this type of trace alements how do we know if we need them or notBe careful when dosing stuff you cannot test for. I struggled for a few years with out of wack parameters. I'd say for now dose slightly under what the bottle recommends for your tank size if you must dose it.
Do you do scheduled water changes? If you're, for example, doing weekly 10% or more water changes I wouldnt worry about minor or trace elements. Just calcium alk and magThat's my question all my parameters like alk. Call. Mag. are good but when it comes to this type of trace alements how do we know if we need them or not

I've been dosing fuel for a few years now I just don't know what is enough like I dose every 7 days but does the tank really need it every 7 days or less say twice a month how do you knowFuel is an amino acid product. It is best dosed at lights out because that is when your corals use it most. I recommend you start with a much lower than recommended dosage, think of it like feeding your coral a powdered food (like Reef Roids, Reef Chili, etc). Work your way up to the recommended dose after a few weeks and stick with it. If you start having algae problems, thinking about cutting back some.
