fuge in a 40 NUVO FUSION

has anybody ran a fuge in a 40 NUVO FUSION . have the innovate marine cheto light .i tried in the back of the sump but it died.any suggestions please. thanks

Did you put the whole light in?
Currently running the cheatomax light with an Intank media basket in the overflow chamber. Same tank as yours.

i put the light in back of the sump.i am using innovate marine media basket.i think film was on side of the glass.i need cheto now to try again.is it working for you?

Did you put the light in the water in the sump?
Started mine a week ago but it seems to be doing real well.

i do not think its water proof.i put in the back glass on the outside of the sump

Ok just making sure because the way you worded it seemed like you put it in the water.
The light isn’t water proof.
How long do you keep the light on?

i keep the light on for 12 hours.the opposite of the display.did you use a filter block on bottom of the media basket?are seeing any growth on the cheto?

Hhm you seem to be set up right.
Not sure on growth yet it’s only been a week but no die off.
My media basket is filter floss, cheato, then filter floss again

mine died in 2 weeks.i think film of bad algae covered the light.
