I just couldn’t do the pink personally

I use a Mars-Hydro par38 grow light for around $15. The pink light really messes with my eyes when looking at the refugium, lol, but it really looks cool in the dark room at night! So cool that i still haven't put the doors on my stand yet!

Funny , it’s says full spectrum. Lol.
It’s not.

You can purchase full spectrum t5 lights around 5500 - 8000k and get the blue and red peaks you need without the magenta/pink look with great results.

I’m getting good growth out of the Eshopps light. Take a nice dense chunk of Calerpa out every other week.
