Hello all,

I've decided to start a display fuge for our 180g tank. I picked up some rock with a used 30g tank and let'er rip. I bought some chaeto and another "red" algae but the only thing I know the name of is the chaeto. Side note, I did learn that emperor crabs eat chaeto! I also see these little red/orange things on the glass, they're a bit bigger then the pods. What's what?

Thanks for the help folks, cheers!

The red looks like it might be dragons breath. Calling my friend @KJ for help on the creatures on the glass...I have no idea myself.

Flatworm Convolutriloba sp.
Thank you. So far I am only finding these in the fuge and not in the display tank. I might separate the two for a couple of weeks and treat the fuge. Fortunately, the display is fallow as im in the middle of TTM to rid of ich.

I'll break this up a little to make it easier to follow.

This is bright green and medium in growth rate in this tank. This is the only plant of its kind in here. It is separate of the sponge.

Suggested it could be Dragon's Breath. This plant looks like two different plants, one looks smooth (blue arrow) and the other variegated (yellow arrow). I looked closely at the stem structure and it looks as though it's one plant, although it's hard to tell without removing from tank.

This one is in a few areas of the fuge. Seams to like to grow from the middle of the common hair algae. It's very fine and feather like.

Red Palm (I used to know the Latin name; Halipton?)

One of the nicer looking species of bryopsis. I'd be tempted to keep it but it might outcompete your other macros and spread elsewhere
