fuge or no fuge

I am just looking for opinions, i Have asked a lot on the other big board. I just want to see what everyone has to say

It would be a sump I am making to replace the one I have now.

I want to get something with more volume and something that allows me to have the skimmer in the first section

I tried running a fuge in my sump, but I run gfo and have a light bio load so my macro algae always died. Plus the light made algae and coralline grow everywhere.

Thats my concern, I wont have many fish when its all said and done and I am running carbon, phosguard and mix of different types of corals
