I was wondering if its necessary to have the Fuge fed via the Drain line? Could I have it Fed off of my return line manifold? Any added benefits of having it come off of the drain line?

Eric

the water from the drainline contains films and proteins from being surface skimmed thats all. Your fuge doesnt have to be hooked up that way most people t-off there return line from the sump and add a ball valve and the output from the ball valve would be the water intake for the fuge after going through the fuge it would dump back into the return section of the sump. the skys the limit as long as theres water in it and its not moving fast a fuge will do what it needs to do.
