Full moon and your aquarium - notice anything?

I noticed the last 24 hrs my overflows to the sump were noticeably louder *again* (seems to be a monthly thing). And it does "surge" down. Tonight my son exclaimed how big the full moon was (lightbulb!) and it got me to thinking - could they be connected, and having a mini "spring tide" each month in the tank? I feel like that would be far fetched in my 180, but technically nothing is impossible.

Thought I'd throw the topic out there - do YOU notice anything particular or special in your tank around this time that makes you scratch your head, or cheer for nature? :smile:

I think it's more tied to how clogged your filter socks or similar may be. Cleaner filter means easier flow. Water in general can only move so fast. I don't mean to be Mr. Dissappointment, but it has nothing to do with the moon.

I could definitely agree with you on that, if it wasn't for clean socks added yesterday.

your fish and corals might be affected, but definitely not your water, how can your pumps which runs on electricity, be affected by gravitational pulls? If you look at the ocean, well that will be affected.
