This didn't happen to be Barry's tank before you did it?

Let me know when/if you break down the Chalice system! I started a 180 Chalice tank and could use some pieces.

Yeah Barry was original owner. This is an exceptional piece it was once part of our local club. Don't hesitate guys this is a one off piece. I don't think Original post says but it's starfire glass

;)

Its a bad butt tank. I was told originally it was made by AquaBox in Richmond who is no longer in business and it was $1000+ brand new for tank alone. Could be a look down tank, a frag tank, a mangrove macro tank, a nano reef, the possibilities are endless

where you located man? Are you on the facebook groups? We have a few local facebook groups with very active members. Baltimore is a hot-bed for reefing dont sleep on our lack of LFS, its because everyone uses the underground market. I may sell a few chalices I got a few issues with STN I havent been able to correct. Got a huge alien eye right now I'm thinking of selling

Yes in deed it was

How much for just the tank?

It's a great price for the setup. I just don't need the other stuff. I'd use it as a frag tank. :)

I am about an hour from Baltimore In Middletown MD right outside of Frederick.

I am the original owner of this tank. It was my wife's idea as a room divider between our kitchen and living room. It's actually lower iron than starfire. It was designed to be an all in one with the baffled section. It can be drilled. Although it is a super nice piece I'm not sure where the $1k price tag came from. The baffled section can accommodate a heater, the return (it was a tunze silence. Not sure if it still is) I had a tunze ozmolator in there along with a small skimmer. It can also be drilled as I inquired about that with the builders of the tank

Thanks man i appreciate the insight. Its a sweet tank id love to keep but over the past few months ive had STN issues in my big reef and i got kid #2 coming this summer. On top that I picked up another really expensive hobby.
Its just becoming too much for me to handle. Im not in my 20's with free time and expendable income anymore. Whoever buys this is getting a truly amazing setup . Its still in fantastic shape. It does have the tunze return still. Cadlights skimmer I think Eric bought

If it don't sell I will offer 250... I'm not trying to low ball u... just I would have a long drive to come get it... I understand if that is too low... do not mean to insult u...
