Full sized Mexican turbo snail poop

Okay, I bought some turbo snails from live aquaria thinking it was a steal because it was only $10, I was wrong. They do a incredible job eating algae, even tho they haven’t even touched my infested rock. They leave piles of poop like I have never seen before. I don’t know how to clean the sand bed either. I know the poop can cause the parameters to spike so how don’t clean this mess?
I have a bio cube 29 gallon with stock everything. I run a extra carbon bag on the filtration, but that’s about it. I’m investing In a wave maker but the dead spot in my tank has SO much snail poop. How can I fix this?
People have said to vacuum the sand bed but I don’t have the knowledge to understand what that means

You can buy a vacuum/siphon you just put in into your tank squeeze it a few times and it starts to pull water from your tank, then you use that vacuum effect to pull off the crap on the sand be. They are relatively cheap

Use a gravel vacuum, and manipulating the water flow by kinking the hose, manually remove the snail poop.

Do you do it when you perform water changes? I feel as 10 gallons would be to much to water change out of a 30 gal

Yes, still do your normal water changes. I clean my sand bed when doing a water change and also sometimes the way it is done in the video. With a 30 gallon tank, you may such up a lot of water trying to clean up all the poop those snails make

When I had to clean the sandbed I usually did it while doing water changes but I’ve never had a 30g tank maybe try use a small opening tube and create a manual siphon to just pick up the poop would waste less water that way.

VERY smart, I’m gonna do this, do you think a net would work? Or should I invest in a filter sock

keep placing snails on hairy rock ,they will eventually get it clean,poss use a sack of phosguard or chemipure into chamber keep phos in check,careful not to strip all

the poop will break up and the net won't hold it
