Absolutely. Light in the blue part of the spectrum is essential for photosynthesis, but so is violet and, to some extent' orange and red. White LEDs can provide some of the missing spectrum (eg, warm white will provide some red and orange is present in both neutral and warm white) but their main function is to make the tank look good to our eyes, not to support photosynthesis.
Adding violet emitters (Not UV) will be very beneficial. The use of warm white LEDs or neutral whites with a few red LEDs will also be beneficial. There are quite a few parts of the visible spectrum that are useful in photosynthesis, it's best to include as many of them as possible.
Blue and white will support life and usually even support growth, just like a Model T will get you from point A to point B. Wouldn't,t you rather have something a little more advanced that will do more than just the bare minimum? By "more," don't mean all the special effects that have become fashionable, those are nice but I am referring to basics like "natural looking light" instead of the flat look that makes people want to switch back to their old fixture. OTOH, a realistic sunrise/sunset is a nice feature too.

Thank you thats what I want I was thinking about maxspect razor what do u think about them all I keep hearing is good things about them im going to need three of them for my six foot tank but im just hoping they are worth the money

Full spectrum is the way to go!
The razor does look nice, I'm wanting to upgrade my leds to full spectrum. I was thinking about the razor, or maybe spending the big bucks and getting the radion pros.

Nathan, you should seriously look into either EverGrow (in China) or Reef Breeders (in US and sell EverGrow). I have 2 of their IT2080 fixtures over my 180g and they are great. Any color spectrum you want, you pick the colors and put them where you want them and I got better PAR whan with the Radion. The controller works great for ramping lights up and down over 24 hours. I have EcoTech Radion and AquaMedic 250w MH going up for sale because I like the EverGrow better and they cost so much less than the Radion (I paid $340 ea in a small group buy of 24 fixtures). BTW, I'd need 4 Radion fixtures ($3000) vs 2 of the IT2080 ($680).
