No - both are truly saltwater species but the both can tolerate brackish water too according to Fishbase.

This is a video of Dyson, a workaholic. Sand bed spotless in less than a month. I waited over a year and a half to get one to ensure I had a mature sand bed.

Diamond goby builds burrow and dives in video

I finally managed to get a video of Dyson, my diamond goby, build his burrow and dive in for the night. You can skip to the 7:20 mark if you just want to see him dive in. Enjoy!
