Hi R2R Team,

I bought a fungia from a LFS about 2 weeks ago now which never had any "tentacles" just wondering if was just a particular kind of fungia?

Fungia is the specific name. Fungia is short tentacle plate, heliofungia is long tentacle plate. There are other kinds of plates, so you have Fungia plate.

look in the very early morning or after lights out , when it’s dark basically, and you should see the tentacles. They are short though. Im an older guy so I use a magnifying glass to see them

That’s not a fugia coral, the name skipped my mind

Had a dig around a little more and think it's called a diaseris plate! Thanks for the assistance in pointing in the right direction of what to google!
That’s the one
