A few days ago I started to notice that one of my zoas had a brown film on it so I cut the infected polyp off and a day later a few more polyps had this film on it so I just threw the colony away. Today I found that another frag of zoas has what appears to be the same fungis so I cut the infected polyp off and threw it away but before that I took a pic of it. I would like to know what it is and what causes it?

I had that once too, it killed all of the zoas in the vicinity of the first infected one. I would suggest quarantining any colonies that have effected polyps, no dips that I used were effective at all...

i recently had some of those. i took the zoas out and with a 50 percent saltwater and 50 percent hydrogen peroxide i scrubbed it off with a soft hobby paintbrush. took awhile but it came off. couple days later in medium flow and medium light my zoas opened back up.
