Fungus on fish?

I think my six line wrasse has some fungus on em by the rear tail, on his body. Was thinking about buying API fungus care to treat or will it possibly go away? Or general cure good to treat. Very difficult to take a picture of em cause hes quick.

They sleep inside a mucous cocoon, so are you sure it's not just the remnants of that??
