New arrival from ORA black cardinal fish. Has white growth on lips, see video. I suspect fungus infection. I have furan-2 that I dosed but wondering if I need anti fungal treatment. It was purchased from LiveAquaria and they did refund the purchase for sending me a sick fish. Any suggestions?

I cant see the video, but fungal diseases ate rare in saltwater. Bacterial infections are much more common.
In addition to furan-2 could add neoplex and kanaplex. To round out the treatment of different bacterias.

White "cottony" growths are usually Lymphocystis. Often brought on by stress to the fish's immune system. It's a harmless virus. Pristine water conditions and good variety of foods rich in vitamins help the fish's immune system to hold down the "condition." Keep an eye on the growth to make sure it doesn't prevent the fish from feeding.

Its definitely white and cottony this could definitely be it. He appears to be eating normally and is in a nice QT tank with minimal stress. Thank you
