Funky growth on mushroom

These mushrooms have been in my tank for a couple of months and lately I've noticed a few areas of this fluorescent green slime. Based on the polyp forming in the left side of this pic, I am assuming this is normal propagation, but I thought I had better make sure.

Think your spot on, looks like you’re going to have more mushroom slime babies
