Funniest rookie mistakes

Found my dosing lines all tangled up, disconnected them, untangled them and blindly hooked them back up, the next day I tested calcium and found it a tad low so I manually (through the app) dosed to bring it up. Tested again and hmmm still low, dosed again, tested again, low again, dosed again, tested again and STILL LOW! WHAT!? Tested alkalinity........ 14dkh! Doh! I mixed my dosing lines up, nuked my coralline algae and ticked off everything in my tank. Don't be like me, check your lines.
