About a year ago I purchased a Yellow golby and pistol shrimp. I put them in my display tank. About two days later we had a bad wind storm and lost power. I didn’t have a battery backup and the power was off for five days. The golby didn’t make it. The shrimp was nowhere to be found. Amazingly I didn’t lose any more fish. Tonight I was feeding my fish and noticed something coming out under my rocks. It was the shrimp beautiful as ever. He’s about an inch long orange and white strips. I can’t believe I didn’t notice him until now. Kinda silly to get excited just thought I’d share. Side note I got a battery back up. Well worth it.
