Funny Thing About My Six Line Wrasse's

Over the last day or so I have been seeing a lot of posts about six line wrasse's. I want to share my experience because I think it's entertaining and interesting. So a few months back, my boyfriend and I added a six line wrasse and a blue cleaner wrasse to the family. And it wasn't until I met up with another "hobbyist" who basically gave us all of her fish that included another six line, that i realised how small our original one is.
So fast-forward to now. The smaller of the two, female, has never messed with any of our other fish, is pregnant and the one we were given was our male. Someone told us that they were surprised how big our male six line is, which is really cool but i don't get it. Our male, who ate our peppermint shrimp, is a known terror but only to the shrimps and our diamond goby. Im
With everything I've been ready, i find it funny that our six line's are mated and they don't bother our blue cleaner wrasse.​

First ive ever heard of a mated pair! Bet theyll be a real terror to tank mates if they breed!

Good luck with the pair! I love the fish, but history has a tendency to repeat itself. Out of the blue 1 1/2 years in my peaceful 6 line became a Monster. It would go after peaceful fish, Inverts and fish almost twice it’s size. Never again. I had to rip my 75 gallon tank apart just to catch him.

I have 4 cleaner wrasses, one in each of my tanks. No one seems to bother the cleaner wrasse. I have a pin stripe wrasse that has killed other wrasses in the tank, but not the cleaner. Maybe because it's a beneficial fish, cleaning other fish including wrasses.

Ive seen the cleaner wrasse cleaning my lawnmower blenny and in one tank even our Mystery Wrasse. Fun to watch.

The bigger six line of mine has just started to be MORE aggressive so i think we will be giving him to a good home, haha

My 6 line wrasse ate 2 sexy shrimp today. Just put them in tank....-30$
